Who: People who want to learn to practice yoga… shed stress… lose weight… gain strength, flexibility, balance… and relax deeply in a beautiful wooded setting.
Cost: $125 per session
Learn the basics of yoga in a naturally heated glass room looking out into the woods.
This class is for people who would like to have a physical yoga practice. (For those more than 30 pounds overweight, have problems getting up and down or other health problems, please join us in gentle yoga.)
Among the things you’ll learn and experience: Basic yoga breathing techniques, posture alignment with assists from the teaching staff, sun salutations, and a number of yoga poses you’ll be able to practice at home.
You’ll also learn to meditate and experience deep relaxation.
The class is taught by David Morgan, E-RYT, certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, and assisted by Bari Kyle, a certified teacher of Zuda Yoga. With two yoga teachers in the room, you’ll get plenty of personalized help in the poses.
The room is naturally heated, approximately 80-85 degrees depending on weather.
There are NO DROP-INS allowed for the beginner series.
